GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School XXI (FSXXI) program which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, AL, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provides flight simulator training.
GDIT has an immediate opening for a Training Support Package (TSP) Writer in Fort Rucker, AL. The writer will develop training support materials and products to be used to support Army Aviations Professional Military Education exercises in a simulation environment, and be able to manipulate simulations to provide Battlemaster support for exercises. This position requires a candidate who has served as a company grade officer, or Aviation Mission Survivability Warrant Officer. Essential job functions include: develop intelligence products that adhere to the Army’s Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE), collaborate with GDIT colleagues and customers to synchronize intelligence products to support unclassified simulation exercises. The candidate must have experience writing operations orders, intelligence annexes, and estimates.
Ability to acquire a Secret Clearance
Experience working with adult learning and training methodologies
Working knowledge of intelligence preparation of battlefield (IPB) process
Working knowledge of the Command Post of the Future (CPOF)
Possess basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Programs
