The Administrative Assistant II will operate with a fair amount of autonomy in a dynamic environment where duties change from day to day. The resource will be situated in a location where greeting guests and answering phones is required, including occasional interaction with senior sponsor leaders. Most activities will be sole support, as opposed to team projects. Most communication responsibilities are verbal, with infrequent writing and no briefing. We have a flexible schedule with core hours from 0900-1500. No physical requirements or travel is anticipated. On occasion and for backup purposes, this resource will be asked to provide coverage for the special assistant who works in the main office with the office lead. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook as well as other sponsor software including applications such as time and attendance software, access software, training systems, travel/reservation software and voucher processing software among others, and on-the-job training will be provided for any systems the candidate is not already proficient. Significant calendar management for at least 5 senior managers.
