We are currently seeking a Test Engineer Associate to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAAs Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support with testing and analyzes network systems development including integration, systems testing, probability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system
  • Document test discrepancies and author change requests as required
  • Maintains existing test processes and documentation to ensure adequate record-keeping and knowledge-sharing
  • Organize and maintain baseline regression procedures in support of operational releases
  • Investigate and report complex operational matters of significance in conjunction with other engineering and technical support to ensure cost effective and efficient resolution to problems
  • Support leads with clients on complex systems; determines system requirements; recommends process and/or programs, coordinates project team and follows through on implementation
  • Support Test Team in developing test plans, procedures and tools
  • Conducts customer-witnessed testing
  • Support Operational patch testing, includes system and adaptation changes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field is preferred) + 2 yrs. related experience     
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge using software testing tools such as RTC, RQM, DOORs and SQL                           
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic understanding of relevant business processes so that they can gather/establish business requirements
  • Experience in roles that required demonstration of excellent communication and writing skills
  • Basic experience with performing scalability and performance testing
  • General Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
  • Time management, priority allocation and task management skills
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Dependable
