And our work depends on a ITSM Change Analyst joining our team to support Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services activities at our Windsor Mill, Maryland location.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Change Analyst supporting The Healthcare General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS), you will be trusted to maintain the integrity of Changes for all HIGLAS products across all operating environments.  In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Coordinate the submission of all change request deliverables for submission to the CAB meeting agenda.
  • Understand and adhere to the Change Management governing process and procedures.
  • Track and schedule changes to minimize conflicts of planned activities and required resources.
  • Evaluate change success, focusing on the evaluation of incidents potentially caused by change, validating the relationship.
  • Evaluate changes that are potentially unauthorized.
  • Support effort to generate weekly and monthly metrics on the Change Management process performance.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and present thoughts and materials in a cohesive and understandable manner.
  • Coordinate CAB responses for unplanned maintenance, including accelerated, emergency, break/fix activities.
  • Create and maintain Deliverables, Standard Operation Procedures, Reports, Dashboards, KPI’s for the Release Management area.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA or the equivalent and 5+ years’ experience working with processes in a similar large-scale application environment 
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL in the Service Transition area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and framework
  • 2+ Years’ experience with Change Management governance
  • 3+ Years’ experience with MS Office suite of products. 
  • 2+ Years’ experience with ServiceNow or similar Change Management Tool 
  • 2+ Years’ experience in working in collaboration with different teams  
  • 1+ Year experience in creating and maintaining documentation
  • Must prove continuous residency in the United States for at least 3 years 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ITIL foundation certification
