Earned Value Management (EVM) Lead, TS/SCI with Poly

At GDIT, People are our differentiator.  Currently, GDIT is seeking an EVM Team Lead to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of GDIT’s DCMA compliant EIA-748 Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Th successful candidate will possess experience in Project Management enables them to interact with program executives, integrated product team leaders, information technology resources, and senior level management. In addition, the EVM Team Lead will represent the company in customer audits and correspondents associated to the EVMS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of GDIT’s DCMA compliant EIA-748 Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Interact with program executives, integrated product team leaders, information technology resources, and senior level management.
• Manage relationships, integrated projects, and contract negations with prime contractors, vendors and subcontractors.
• Represent GDIT in customer audits and correspondents associated to the EVMS.
• Provide Consult with government related management issues including topics such as project baseline negotiations, stakeholder investments, capital planning and other strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate the establishment of project goals, meeting objectives and implementing the discipline needed to deliver projects
• Contribute to the successful completion of EVM Cost & Schedule deliverables.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 5 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree implementing and utilizing EVM practices and procedures in the federal government. 

Must Have Experience:

• Seven (7) years of related management experience
• MS Project Web Access (aka MS Project Online), Deltek Cobra, for Project EVM
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• TS SCI with Poly

Preferred Skills: MS PowerApps, SSI Tools, wInsight, Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Analysis
