In your position supporting AFNORTH/A2 you will conduct activities through engaging, equipping, training, exercising and assessments with theater partner nations in support of their ISR operations, as related to counterdrug and other operations. Duties will include training and equipping of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) analysts, computer workstations, simulators, sensors, and related network architecture.  You will also assist and provide support requirements for ISR Information Technology (IT) support to assist AFNORTH in accomplishing the mission of assisting partner nations in support of homeland defense and counterdrug operations.

  • Assist AFNORTH A2 representatives to identify and document Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) infrastructure shortfalls.

  • Assist in the design, planning and implementation of ISR network infrastructure and capacity development and sustainment of partner nation ISR operations.

  • Research and identify applicable hardware/software vital to operating and sustaining optimum ISR infrastructure.

  • Assist AFNORTH with system installation, Information Assurance, maintenance, upgrades, equipment removal, documentation and technical drawings as required, to include travelling to partner nation locations to execute.

  • Coordinate with Software Engineers, Database Administrators, Operations and Maintenance personnel, and System Administrators as required to maintain systems integrity and availability

  • Identify, review, and provide assessment of emerging IT requirements for AFNORTH and partner nations.  Assist AFNORTH with the documentation of emerging ISR requirements.

  • Provide assistance with the set-up and configuration of digital training classrooms (DTC) for ISR Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) to partner nations to include Mexico and Bahamas.  Perform maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues during MTT execution.

  • Collaborate on behalf of AFNORTH with internal and external partners/organizations to establish prioritized acquisition strategies with supporting budgets to meet partner nation requirements.

  • Assist AFNORTH in coordinating with U.S. Embassy staff to accomplish IT support and installation of equipment at partner nation facilities.

  • The contractor shall assist the government with the installation, configuring, administering, and maintaining IT systems.

  • Travel to and/or participate in conferences, teleconferences, VTCs, and other events related to or impacting AFNORTH ISR requirements.

  • The contractor shall develop/maintain functional checklists and SOP on their specific tasks.

Education and Experience: BA/BS or equivalent, 8+ years of experience

Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
