The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training. 

Cloud Consultant Senior Director. Serves as key technical expert in an area of expertise or across multiple areas, providing strategic consulting to internal or external clients. Designs, defines, and implements IT infrastructures for optimal operability that meet business objectives.

 

Job Duties:

  • Oversees personnel for the software development, planning, design, coordination, and strategizing of cloud-based initiatives.
  • Manages the support, technical governance, and expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operation.
  • Provides expert guidance and leadership in cloud migration, adoption, and cloud strategies.
  • Partners with senior government officials for cloud end-to-end architecture including networking, provisioning, and management.
  • Maintains overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, etc.
  • Oversees the development of solutions architecture and the evaluation of architectural alternatives for cloud models, such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and manage the team’s migration efforts.
  • Drives the scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment for cloud services.
  • Collaborates with the government to ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Assesses and identifies significantly impactful and critical internal and external IT systems needs and requirements to meet business objectives.
  • Analyzes and diagnoses significantly impactful and critical IT infrastructures for optimal operability.
  • Provides the highest level of partnership and collaboration with internal and external chief technology and information officers throughout the entire life-cycle of projects to define, design, and implement business process based solutions.
  • Provides significantly impactful metrics to optimize team delivery and measure business agility in terms of predictability, reliability, and adaptability.
  • Provides significantly impactful strategic advice on the design and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs.
     

Minimum Education Required:

  • MS or MA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTUTION: Six (6) years of related experience or four (4) years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 20+ years of IT experience
  • 10+ years of business solutions experience
  • Advanced level industry certification from one of the following: Microsoft, AWS, Sun, Red Hat, Oracle, CompTIA or relevant technology
  • IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program

Security Clearance: Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.
