TRAVEL The Administrative Assistant Ill will be the only contractor working in a high tempo environment alongside staff officers. Core hours are from 8 am to 3 pm. AA will be the face of the program and must compose themselves in a professional manner at all times. This will require a positive, energetic, proactive and engaging personality, and the ability to operate in a high-paced office environment while ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and on-time. Must be willing to ask questions, seek guidance from more senior staff and seek resolution to all tasks in a timely and complete manner. Candidate will be expected to triage incoming customer requests and assert critical thinking for appropriate action to support travelers' requirements. AA must have good written and verbal communication skills and may on occasion be asked to present updated training guidance on the forms used. AA would be expected to work 1860 hours/yr, and any overtime would be a benefit to office. The candidate is expected to be able to become proficient quickly and navigate internal and external sponsor travel software and communications programs. AA will be provided on-the-job training upon arrival. AA is strongly preferred to know how to use SharePoint, Microsoft Office (including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro prior to arrival. Will extensively use sponsor systems to navigate, track, and report status of travel documents to customers. Previous sponsor experience is preferred, but not required. Also, previous experience living or traveling overseas would be preferred, but not required.
