The EW Operations Analyst supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department (B-Department) by providing engineering support, systems integration, hardware and software research and development, test and evaluation (T&E), documentation generation and control, systems analysis, and laboratory/test facility maintenance, system operation and training. Some Specific examples include:

  • Advanced threat characterization and identification
  • Cognitive decision support applied to EW systems
  • Real-time EW effects evaluation
  • Collaborative weapon/sensor engagements
  • Legacy and Emerging Electronics Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA)  Sensor systems

EXPERIENCE: This position requires eight (8) years’ experience in threat system analysis and/or operation of U.S. Navy or other Armed Services warfare systems. Additionally candidates must have experience in the following areas:

  • Threat systems, red adversary tactics and kill chains, blue force Operational Plans (OPLANS), Fleet operations, specializing in Electronic Warfare and Information Operations.
  • Organize, lead, and host large meetings, workshops, or conferences.
  • Electronic Maneuver Warfare systems and operations, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, and generation of Electronic Warfare Gaps and Capabilities.
  • Systems development and/or testing and creating/reviewing technical documentation, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concept of Employment (CONEMP), Tacticas Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Developmental and Operational Test & Evaluation (T&E).
  • JCIDs process 5000 series.

It is desired that the successful candidate also have experience with Agile methodology: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

EDUCATION: It is desired that the successful candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Eight (8) years of additional experience (in addition to the eight (8) required above) can be used in lieu of a degree.
