At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant IV a typical day will include:

  • Managing the workflow of continuously changing priorities, schedules, and action items for the Chief and Deputy Chief within the Front Office

  • Scheduling/rescheduling meetings and ensure that all parties involved are updated. Must be cognitive of the criticality, sensitivity, and confidentiality of the issues they are made aware of during daily interactions.

  • Responsible for keeping the Chief and Deputy Chief informed of daily activities and high priority tasking that may require immediate actions

  • Maintaining and distributing as appropriate, the Senior Executives' schedules using any/all organizational tools (Outlook), daily "calendar cards", and any other means available/necessary to disseminate/update the schedules

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Office staff Management and external Senior Executive Managers, to coordinate meetings, research tasking's and distribute mission related information to key personnel

  • May assist in action tracker taskings, coordinating incoming requests with office personnel to ensure deadline will be met

  • Ability to distill the purpose, importance, and audience and summarize for the Senior Executives' understanding of all correspondence, E-mails, etc.

  • Ability to glean any important nuances or sensitive topics and highlight them for Senior Executives' attention


  • HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm

  • Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
