Overview:

Our company supports the customer by leveraging leading-edge IT solutions to improve customer's mission effectiveness while continuously seeking opportunities to increase efficiency. Under the Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract, our 110-member team delivers the full breadth of IT services, including infrastructure engineering and operations, software development and maintenance, cyber security, enterprise architecture support, and document processing. We also provide document processing capabilities in support of the agency’s regulatory mission.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative developer who can bring new ideas to the table while gaining experience from a team of seasoned professionals. We have an immediate opening for a .NET, XML software developer who will be responsible for development, support, and maintenance of new and legacy web applications in a fast-paced, high-demand team environment to help the customer realize mission-enabling benefits from implementing leading-edge technologies.

Qualifications:

Degree Desired:  B.S. in Computer Science or related field of study; have the ability to work and consult with colleagues as well as individually; have the ability to consult and communicate closely with technical managers, supervisors and subject matter experts of the program.

Required Proficiency:

Chosen candidate will be a developer with an excellent work ethic, attitude, an appetite for learning, and the motivation to discover and master new technology.

Candidate must possess at least 2-4 years of experience developing web applications using Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL Server 2014 and earlier, XML/XSD, MS Entity Framework, WCF/Remoting, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, TFS and writing automated unit tests.

Demonstrated personal experience of a compelling nature can be substituted for work experience in some cases.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with third-party user controls — Infragistics specifically
  • MVC
  • AngularJS
  • Experience with developing/deploying applications in the Cloud
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles and experience working in an agile environment
  • Source control repository such as TFS, Git, or Subversion
