At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Project Integrator supporting the customer, a typical day will include:

  • Performing graphic design efforts to support the Sponsor’s classified and unclassified dashboard development platforms as well as crowdsourcing and crowdtasking IT software platforms
  • Assisting the Sponsor by designing logos, posters, presentations, slicksheets, thumbnails, and user guides to boost marketing for these software platforms to improve the overall user interface experience of the Sponsor’s software application.
  • Conducting outreach with the Sponsor’s organization, engaging with customers to document requirements, and collecting feedback on the designs


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design across different media types.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to identify customer needs and translate those requirements into visually appealing media.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering presentations with effective use of visual aids using the Adobe suite of tools (Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in developing new business, particularly in gathering project ideas via internal and external customer outreach activities.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and offering suggestions for concept development, metrics and deployment decisions.
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph


  • Demonstrated familiarity with innovation methodologies, techniques, and open innovation prize competitions.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with commercial or proprietary innovation software platforms, such as InnoCentive,com, BrightIdea, HeroX, Hype, and the USG’s, etc.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with transitioning technology from prototype to market or customer use.
  • Demonstrated familiarity conducting usability testing to identify UI issues and gather target user input.
  • Demonstrated familiarity working effectively in dynamic team environment with technical and non-technical officers.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with UI/UX design and development.

Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.

Utilizes advanced, highly complex modeling and measuring techniques. Performs functional modeling based on requirements analysis.

Directs functional testing of various projects or systems.

Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.

Develops new functionality or updates the existing, to meet client needs.

Writes and updates project documentation including procedures, presentations, and training materials.

Performs functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships.

Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.

May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)

Serves as advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.

Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience
