Pricing Analyst, Advisor

General Summary:

• Perform cost/price analysis and estimates for complex proposal efforts

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform cost/price analysis and estimates for complex proposal efforts, consistent with company policies, FAR, CAS, and solicitation requirements
• Work as an integral part of the capture/proposal team, assisting in the development of pricing strategies, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements
• Develop and deliver price strategy/business case presentations to executives and key decision makers
• Maintain current knowledge of the competitive environment
• Act as the cost/price proposal volume manager
• Coordinate the collection of proposal data from multiple functional areas (Technical, Operations, Finance, Legal)
• Support post-submittal activities such as evaluation notices, negotiations, certifications, etc.
• Interface with DCAA auditors regarding cost proposals, including the provision of direct and indirect costs support
• Participate in special projects as required

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
• 8+ years of related experience in the development and submittal of complex spreadsheets and costs proposals to Federal customers for products and services
• Experience pricing all contracts types including FFP, FP-LOE, T&M, FP-LH, CPFF, CPAF, and other Cost Reimbursable contracts
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Skills and Abilities:

• Advanced skill level with MS Excel and proficient in other MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of the relevant corporate and government regulations and standards regarding Federal procurement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
