Job Description
  • Responsibilities
    • Identify and evaluate next generation technical security systems. 
    • Design and development of security technologies. 
    • Develop system documentation to include technical requirements, evaluation reports, test plans, deployment instructions, and technical bulletins. 
    • Evaluate, analyze, and maintain technical security systems. 
    • Perform annual system document reviews. 
    • Provide Tier 3 operational incident and problem resolution support. 
    • Collaborate with vendors on new products and existing system improvements.

    • Automated Key Control Systems  
    • Access Denial Systems  
    • Vehicle Barrier Controllers  
    • Walkthrough Metal Detectors  
    • X-Ray Systems 

  

  • Qualifications 
    • Interim Secret/Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one 
    • International travel is required (1-2 trips a year) 
    • Bachelor’s degree and 5 + years of related technical security experience or the equivalent combination of education/training and/or experience.
    • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification - Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP desired. 
    • User level proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD/Visio) preferred.

  • General Expectations of the role 
    • Dependable and takes initiative 
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
    • Ability to read, edit, and interpret circuit diagrams and low-voltage electrical schematics. 
    • Familiar with the use and operation of a digital voltage meter for point-to-point system testing. 
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and support systems throughout the system lifecycle.
