GDIT is seeking an Army Business Development Director to focus on pursuing opportunities and growing business in the Army Intelligence Community with a focus on the Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). This position will support our Defense Division and can be fully remote with occasional travel to our headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia

Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage all aspects of account growth, new business development and customer relationship management across all levels within assigned accounts.
Meet with customers to understand the customer territory—relative to portfolio of deals
Develop a pipeline of new opportunities for assigned Sector or market segment
Lead identification and qualification of new business opportunities that support the account plan, Sector growth goals, and submit targets, throughout the opportunity life cycle.
Lead early development of win strategy during the Assessment Phase, prior to assignment of a Capture Manager
Execute call plans to collect information about particular opportunities; in collaboration with technical staff, proffers and tests potential solutions; qualifies opportunities; document customer meetings in Salesforce.
Perform Capture Manager responsibilities for Sector or Business Area bids as needed.
Prepare for and brief opportunities at formal gate reviews.
Develop and brief Pursuit Reviews
Provide insight from customer point of view throughout opportunity life cycle.
Active Top Secret Clearance
10+ years of Sales/BD/Capture/Proposal experience within the DoD/Army Intelligence Community, preferably INSCOM.
Experience managing a pipeline of business focused on year-over-year Growth
Experience developing Account Strategies
Experience with CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce)
Able to develop actionable plans by leveraging market knowledge
