We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst to join our winning team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). This is your opportunity to work in technically advanced, positive, and productive environment. Will serve as an interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues. Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
NAWCWD primarily operates in two Southern California locations: China Lake and Point Mugu, CA. In order to provide improved service capabilities to current and future NAVAIR operations, NAWCWD is modernizing and optimizing the infrastructure that currently supports weapons development and testing activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collects and performs analysis on information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system with moderate supervision
Prepares in-depth flow charts, models, and procedures along with conducting feasibility studies to aid with design of possible system solutions
Conduct form design and layout activities with moderate guidance from manager
Prepares systems specifications
Performs post-flight analysis of system-gathered data using developed solutions and assists with providing code performance/functional feedback
Under moderate supervision, prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of systems
Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
Performs analysis and systems designs
BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
Experience with E-2 Hawkeye, H-60 Seahawk, and F/A-18E/F/G electronic warfare equipment
Experience with Naval Aviation Electronic Warfare missions and operations
