Job Description

GDIT is currently seeking a Lotus Notes Developer to provide technical support for a new program that provides agency-wide Enterprise IT support. The Lotus Notes Developer will serve in a vital program role, responsible for maintaining legacy Lotus Notes applications and facilitate their transition to a web-based environment.

• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software
• Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the system users
• Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address user concerns
• Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch
• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Design, implement, and maintain application phases
• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle
• Provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions
• Support the efforts to deploy SecDevOps, Infrastructure as Code and automation efforts across the service area

Required Skills:
o Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
o Proven working experience as a Lotus Notes Developer for Top Secret mission critical systems and networks
o Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
o Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
o Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks/systems
o Ability to learn new languages and technologies
o Excellent communication skills
o Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
o Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards
o Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance, with Full-Scope Polygraph
