SharePoint Administration and Business Process Improvement Analyst (Junior Level)

Perform SharePoint Administration and Business Process Improvement analysis for the Workforce Operations Branch under the Office of the Chief of Staff for the Cybersecurity Division (CSD).  Support and build trust and relationships with clients and team. 

SharePoint Administration work includes operation and maintenance of internal and workforce-facing sites, and comprises the following activities:   

  • Collect requirements from clients and follow direction to troubleshoot/create within the SharePoint environment in coordination with the CSD SharePoint CORE Team.
  • Assist in creating and managing subsites, lists and libraries.
  • Coordinate with SharePoint site owners to grant site access as appropriate.

Business Process Improvement work includes working with the BPI team to solicit, understand and document the client’s business requirements and workflows, and comprises the following activities:

  • Participate in stakeholder interviews to understand current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Perform business process support functions for CSD, as assigned.

Applicant must have bachelor’s degree.  1-2 years of progressive experience working with SharePoint and collaborative project environments is desired; additional years of education may substitute for experience.

  • Experience with knowledge management systems or repositories, preferably SharePoint-based.
  • Experience working with customers or stakeholders in a collaborative environment, both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Eagerness to learn and bring new ideas to the team to improve and streamline current processes.
  • Strong accountability for work, timelines and communicating progress.

Desired knowledge, skills or abilities for applicants include:

  • Strong, demonstrated proficiency with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016, and/or Office 365.
  • Desire to explore and apply Office 365 capabilities and more advanced MS Office functions.
  • Aptitude for developing new insights into situations and applying innovative solutions to business problems.
  • Experience with business process management in day to day operations.
  •  DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 2+ years experience
