GDIT is currently seeking a Federal Government Compliance expert and emerging leader to join our team located in Falls Church, VA. The team serves as the primary interface with Government auditors and regulators and is responsible for developing and supporting the audits of regulatory required deliverables such as incurred cost submissions and disclosure statements.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Government Compliance – Senior Analyst supporting DCAA, you will be trusted to use your analytic skills to develop solutions, as well as have the opportunity to actively work with senior leadership.
**This role is 100% remote during COVID restrictions, but once restrictions are lifted, it is preferred that the role is based on site in our Fairview Park location in Falls Church, VA. Flexible work options are available for negotiation at that time.**
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCE – SENIOR ANALYST:
Participate in preparation of the annual incurred cost submissions or lead development of individual schedules;
Serve as a DCAA liaison for incurred cost proposal reviews and audits, cost and budget reviews, and other audits and data requests for the DCAA on-site auditors;
Analyze corporate timekeeping metrics; recommend and develop associated communication;
Assist the contract close-out process, preparing schedules and documents; identifying opportunities for automation; manage automation of processes including requirements development, communication with IT resources and testing delivered capability;
Provide Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) guidance to internal customers.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, plus five (5) years minimum experience in a finance business partnering or consulting role in federal government contracting (this role must include providing decision support to executive level internal/external customers); OR nine (9) years experience in the areas above in lieu of bachelor’s degree;
Two (2) years in, or consulting to, a Federal Government Compliance role/environment;
Working knowledge of FAR and CAS;
Hands-on experience performing financial modeling, reporting, analytics, and monitoring/evaluating controls;
A demonstrated ability to maintain poise under pressure and lead tasks to closure;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Proficiency with relevant software applications such as MS Outlook and Office, including strong Excel skills, and Oracle OR CostPoint experience.
