The SPACECOM J2 Program Manager (PM) provides management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of an integrated and responsive operations program. Supports USSPACECOM J2 staff functions and mission providing relevant intelligence through the conduct of warning, analysis and assessments enabling freedom of action, deterring aggression and defending U.S. activities to achieve national space objectives. The PM serves as the Government’s primary POC. The PM is required to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the TO, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance. The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, to include both technical issues and businesses processes. The PM will be proactive in alerting the Government to potential issues and resource limitation issues.
Active Project Management Institute (PMI), Program Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification and/or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification. Proposed PM must include certification and/or certification number
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI)
Intelligence experience with Space background
Master’s degree in one of the following fields of study: Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
Minimum of ten years’ experience providing DoD project management managing a cross-functional team of professionals in an enterprise environment.
Experience with overseeing and implementing large-scale DoD programs and initiatives
Minimum of five years’ experience working with DoD intelligence programs
The likely salary range for this position is $118,810 - $198,411, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
