Job Description
Experienced industrial painter needed to support Navy projects. Experience working with various types of epoxies, urethanes, and plural component applications. Ability to use abrasives to sandblast with mineral grit, steel grit, and stainless. SSPC certifications are a plus as well: C7, C12, certifications. Use of power tools and brush and roller techniques to ensure a quality product that meets all criteria in the specifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years experience working in industrial coatings
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Presents a professional image and helps supervisor lead by example
- Willing to do what it takes to make the team successful; works well with others and promotes a quality product to ensure projects are performed in a timely manner and within the allotted estimate.
- Maintain logs of Volatile Organic Compound and spray volume
- Must be familiar with HVLP paint guns and process
- Must be able to work independently
- Experience required
