Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.
  • Responsible for researching, developing, and communicating requirements for all projects assigned
  • Investigate what needs a customer is looking to fulfill and translating those into technical requirements
  • Responsible for analyzing requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
  • Incorporates new plans, design, and systems into ongoing operations
  • May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)
  • Serves as advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation
  • Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel

Required Skills / Experience:
  • Experience in evaluating and translating customer needs into technical solutions
  • Prior experience as a requirements analyst or project manager
  • Strong communication and engagement skills with an introductory level of understanding of networking
  • Possess considerable technical and project management skills

Required Certification(s): DoD8570 IAT II (e.g. Security+)

Security Clearance: Must have a TS/SCI Clearance and the ability to obtain required Polygraph

Desired Certifications: ITIL V3 or ITIL V4 Foundation, PMP, Network+, CCNA

Desired Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
