Sponsor administrative experience is critical for effective office management in customer office, where proprietary and sensitive information is a part of the daily fabric of work. The Administrative Assistant (AA) is expected to complete assignments independently, with little guidance or review from the senior executive (14/15 level). The AA is expected to act with professionalism when dealing face to face with the Senior Executive staffs (the COO), contract group chiefs, COTRs, and COs, other staff team members, and the Contact program management office, the Staff and Contractor Security officers, and other contracts POCs for the contracts supported by the customer COTRs and COs. The AA shall assist the Chief as needed in support of the activities required by the COO. Communication with the customer staff teams and its members shall be either verbal and or written, based on the tasking. The AA shall be available to work the core hours within the office 9:00 am -3:00 pm., but shall not arrive before 6:00 am and leave no later than 6:00 pm. The contractor shall be given to have the option as FLEX day as part of their work schedule. The final work schedule will be decided on the first day the contractor reports for duty. The primary work location is Herndon. Travel (local or CONUS) is not required for this position.
