Provide program support to Naval Air Systems Command's Program Office (PMA-231). Performs and coordinates detailed analysis and appraisal of the E-2D Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Japan Program. Support the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) and Program Manager for aircraft hardware equipment and avionics integration system support. Should possess the knowledge in all aspects of program development and execution. Ability to provide in-depth analysis review challenging and vexing technical, program management problems, and recommend insightful and innovative solutions.
Supports customer logistics and program requirements through the development/submission, analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day acquisition documentation PIDs/PRs, CDRLs, SOW/PWS/ DIDs, and independent cost estimates.
Analyzes and provide technical research on customer requests. Experience and understanding with LORs/LOAs.
Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced employees, and may have supervisory responsibility.
Monitor contracts for component deliveries and/or USG stock acquisitions in order to evaluate implications and risk relative to future, current and completed work in accordance with budget, schedule, or scope requirements.
Experience working with all internal and external NAVAIR organizations supporting all aspects of the aircraft weapon system.
This position requires knowledge of program acquisition, financial/program tracking and management, monitor schedule and milestones.
Participates in special projects as required
Participation in technical meetings and development of meeting minutes or action tracking will be required. In addition to regular minutes/actions the analyst will be expected to provide feedback to both program leadership and technical team members on recommended path forward for compliance with relevant processes.
