GDIT is looking for an Install Move Add Change (IMAC) Coordinator to support our federal client.  The IMAC Coordinator will perform coordination of delivery and setup services for laptops, printer, and monitors as well install software and perform end-user moves. Duties will also include working with Asset Management in conducting inventories and hardware audits.   Excellent opportunity for help desk agents looking to transition to Tier 2 support.

Essential Functions:

  • Review Daily reports and ensure on time deliver
  • Coordinate support for IMAC activities Schedule PC replacements
  • Desktop Support
  • Unpacking computers
  • Installing software
  • Setting up new computers
  • Removing old computers
  • Assisting surplus the equipment

Requirements:

  • Must have CompTIA A+ Training or Higher
  • 3 year of desktop support experience
  • Must have knowledge of IMAC (Install Move Add Chance)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally

Attire:

This position does require the employees to wear business casual attire Monday through Fridays (Business casual is a polo shirt, dress shirt and/or sweater, khakis or dress pants and business shoes).
