ISM Senior Software Developer

Job Description:

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Java Developer to join our Army Installation Support Modules (ISM) Project.  The ideal candidate will be able to research, design, develop, modify, document, test, debug and maintain functionalities for the Army Human Resources Systems (AHRS) software application. 

Education/Training/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Required:

Active Secret Clearance

Required Skills:

Overall 5-8 years of experience with Java development in a working environment

Experience developing client and server side web applications using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Java

Server Pages (JSP), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, etc.

Experience correcting software deficiencies and developing new capabilities

Database experience with SQL, ideally PL/SQL

Great communication skills

Self-starter

Desired Skills:

Versioning and revision control system, ideally Apache Subversion

HP Application Lifecycle Manager

Creating and editing PDF’s with Adobe Experience Manager – Forms Designer

Developing integration software specifically Oracle WebLogic

Period of employment for this project may not exceed six months.
