Effective March 15, employees who are returning to the U.S. from any international trip – business or personal – will be required to complete a 14-day quarantine (i.e., stay out of the worksite). If you are able to telework during this period, you may do so.
Through April 30, every employee who is able to work remotely should coordinate with their manager to do so. We have arranged for additional licenses to accommodate the increased demand for remote access and we are waiving the requirement for a telework agreement at this time. Employees are expected to follow existing guidelines for working remotely and recording time. If you need technical support, contact the GDIT Service Desk at 1-833-ONE-GDIT (1-833-663-4348). We will reassess this arrangement at the end of the two-week period.
For our employees who will need to remain on-site at a GDIT location or customer site to deliver mission critical support for our customers, please continue to work with your managers as they are partnering with our customers to explore opportunities, where feasible, for additional flexibility in work schedules and work locations.
State/Agency Guidance on Essential Work: HR, Contracts and Legal are tracking state mandates to shelter-in-place or stay at home and directives related to essential work in order to assess the potential impacts on our teams and provide appropriate guidance. As each mandate differs, please contact your manager with any questions.
Leave and Time Recording Guidance
Accurate time recording remains important, and employees should continue to follow GDIT’s standard time recording practices. Go to GDIT Connect to check out the leave and time recording guidance table that provides guidance on how to charge your time for a variety of scenarios. To provide additional flexibility related to time charging, we have increased the allowance in negative General Leave.
