These have been challenging times as we continue to navigate the pandemic, distressing world events and life’s day-to-day stressors. It’s important that we prioritize our mental health and have safe spaces for discussions on serious issues like suicide.
World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) was established in conjunction with the World Health Organization as an advocacy and communication-based event aimed at reaching national organizations, governments and the general public, giving a singular message that suicide can be prevented. This year’s theme is Creating Hope Through Action.
