Job Description

JUNIOR MULE DEVELOPER

MuleSoft developers at GDIT are responsible for planning, developing and supporting MuleSoft-based APIs and Integrations that service GDIT. Mule developers should be able to help project teams define requirements, develop Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions, support network troubleshooting for the ESB and support the APIs and integrations from an operational standpoint.

HOW A JUNIOR MULESOFT DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Assist project teams in developing requirements.
● Formulate solutions using RESTful API standard practices.
● Formulate solutions for batch-based integrations.
● Develop solutions from start to finish using Mule 4.
● Troubleshoot network issues affecting the ESB.
● Support maintenance and support efforts during after-hours maintenance windows.
● Support O&M efforts for production API’s and integrations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Associate must have:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
● Experience: 0+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Mule 4, UNIX (Linux/AIX), HTTP, JSON, XML 
● Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), requirements analysis skills, computer programming skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in teams
● Preferred Skills: REST, SOA, MAVEN, Bitbucket, Git 
● Location: Remote

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $84,928. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
