Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to provide expert‑level cloud operations, architecture support, monitoring, metrics analysis, and incident remediation across mission‑critical AWS‑based environments. This role ensures availability, resiliency, and compliance of enterprise cloud systems supporting Intelligence Community applications. Responsibilities include hands‑on administration, automation, troubleshooting, and engineering support aligned with SOW requirements for Cloud Application Architecture, Development, Engineering, Monitoring and Metrics, Routine Operations, and Incident Remediation.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with AWS, Linus and Windows servers, Jenkins and Puppet.
  • Support cloud application architecture, development, and engineering activities, ensuring alignment with Sponsor technical and security baselines.
  • Coordinate with system engineers, cybersecurity engineers, and DevSecOps personnel for solution planning and implementation.
  • Conduct daily O&M tasks, including audit log reviews, access control management, configuration updates, backup verification, patching, and service availability checks.
  • Maintain compliance with continuous audit monitoring requirements, system security plans (SSPs), and ATO commitments.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, document work in Jira/Confluence, and coordinate with cross‑functional engineering and development teams.
  • Lead troubleshooting and remediation of cloud incidents, including outages, performance degradation, backup failures, and misconfigurations.
  • Use automated recovery workflows, scripted restore routines, and environment rebuild procedures to restore services quickly and reliably.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and feed insights back into operational runbooks and automation pipelines.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Location: Tyson's, VA (On Customer Site)
  • US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $162,037 - $219,227. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
