MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Cyber Operations Planner, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of US Army NETCOM. You will play a crucial role in enterprise IT missions connecting and enhancing the systems that matter most. At GDIT you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.
● Lead/Manage/Support by providing Cyberspace Tasking Orders support to NETCOM Operations for the Army.
● Collaborate with NETCOM staff and mission partners to meaningfully impact the security of Army networks.
● Drive strategic and technical implementation guidance on securing the DoDIN: both threat-informed and threat-agnostic.
● Receive orders from NETCOM, ARCYBER, and JFHQ- DoDIN and analyze those orders for Army-wide implementation.
● Utilize technical, administrative, and operational leadership skills to assigned projects or tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your cyber expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Cyber Operations Planner must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Certification: Must be IAM Level 1 certified ( CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE)
● Technical skills:
Specialized experience in Army orders production, mission analysis, and orders compliance
In-depth understanding of the task order requirements, their responsibilities, and the ability, knowledge, experience, and skills to carry out those requirements and responsibilities
Current understanding of Department of Defense Information Network - Army capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs
DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policy, including DoD Instruction 8500.01, Cybersecurity, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.
Working knowledge of Army Computer Systems and Network technologies and topologies to include the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN), Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) and Top-Level Architecture (TLA).
Awareness of current and developing cyber threats, tactics, procedures, and vulnerabilities
Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
● Security clearance level: Top Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI
● Role requirements: On-site.

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
