Job Description
As a Lead Content Curator, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on a Lead Content Curator joining our team to develop, screen, and edit content for a platform within an internet-based program in Tampa, Florida. This role requires excellent English and creative writing skills, proficiency in journalism editing standards, and the ability to create digital content including articles, videos, and advertising collaterals. You will perform technical tasks associated with internet-based publications and research regional and topical media to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations.
HOW A LEAD CONTENT CURATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Develops, screens, and edits content for a platform within an internet-based program.
Creates digital content including articles, videos, and advertising collaterals.
Performs technical tasks associated with internet-based publications.
Researches regional and topical media to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations.
Applies excellent English and creative writing skills, with proficiency in journalism editing standards.
Works nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Experience:
5+ years of related experience required.
Journalism experience, including writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications, highly preferred.
Priority candidates will have a background in science journalism.
Security Clearance Level:
Active DoW Secret clearance required (minimum).
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent English and creative writing skills.
Proficiency in journalism editing standards.
Ability to create and edit digital content across multiple formats.
Strong research skills to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations.
Ability to perform technical tasks associated with internet-based publications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment.

Customer Site (Tampa, FL).

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
