LOGISTICS ANALYST AND WEBINAR SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Keep operations on track and your career in motion as a Logistics Analyst and Webinar Support Specialist at GDIT. Your work supporting logistics and virtual stakeholder webinars at GDIT will support government missions and your enable your long-term career growth. As a Logistics Analyst and Webinar Support Specialist, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to EPA's mission. You will play a crucial role in supporting GDIT teams deploying to the field for EPA projects focused on data collection and enable EPA to deliver webinars focused on water sector resilience.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable candidate to support two primary operational areas: (1) logistics and inventory management for field teams collecting water utility data, and (2) coordination, administration, and delivery of large‑scale virtual webinars. These webinars are attended by hundreds to thousands of participants, requiring strong attention to detail, reliable coordination skills, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced digital event environment. The ideal candidate excels at follow‑through, organization, and balancing responsibilities across both physical and virtual work settings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Logistics and Inventory Support:

● Maintain and organize materials and equipment used by field teams conducting water utility data collection.

● Update and manage inventory using an inventory application, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.

● Unbox, inspect, clean, and recondition returned materials and equipment.

● Review incoming equipment requests from field teams and confirm accuracy prior to fulfillment.

● Package items securely and prepare shipments for field personnel.

● Coordinate outbound shipping, monitor tracking information, and document deliveries.

● Maintain workspace cleanliness, organization, and readiness for rapid turnaround of supplies.

Webinar Coordination and Support:

● Assist with scheduling, planning, and logistics for virtual webinars attended by hundreds to thousands of participants.

● Coordinate with presenters, internal staff, and support teams to gather materials, confirm technology needs, and prepare agendas.

● Prepare and submit applications to state accrediting organizations to secure Continuing Education credits for webinar participants.

● Manage Continuing Education documentation, including tracking approvals, maintaining accreditation requirements, and organizing attendance records.

● Configure webinar platforms, schedule sessions, set up registration links, and prepare automated communications.

● Provide live webinar support by monitoring participant engagement at scale, managing Q&A and chat features, resolving attendee issues, and assisting presenters.

● Complete post‑webinar responsibilities such as downloading attendance reports, preparing Continuing Education certificates, and coordinating participant follow‑up.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The candidate must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics support, inventory management, operations, or similar fields. Experience supporting virtual trainings, webinars, or professional education events is preferred but not required.
● Competencies:

- Customer‑service orientation toward supporting internal teams and large groups of external webinar participants

● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: active, valid driver's license required. Candidate will work onsite at GDIT's Falls Church, Virginia location.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
