Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Test Engineer to work in a dynamic Agile team environment. The desired candidate will be results-oriented and able to create and execute test scenarios necessary to maintain and enhance enrollment, payment and premium data for Medicare beneficiary enrollments into Medicare Part C and D Plans.

This position will perform testing for the CMS Medicare Performance and Payment Systems to support new development and system maintenance of the Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MARx) System.

Specific tasks will include:

  • Define and create test cases.

  • Perform data analysis and/or system testing to support the MARx program. 

  • Design and implement testing plans.

  • Assess performance of IT products and services to ensure they meet established quality standard.

  • Provide cross functional support to help resolve defects and errors in IT products.

  • Monitor and analyze post-release production activities. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience creating and executing test cases

  • Experience documenting and presenting test case results to the client

  • SQL and experience with databases and data warehouses

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience and knowledge of MARx

  • Experience with AWS Cloud environment

  • Experience with the Agile framework.

  • Experience documenting test cases in TestRail

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow

  • Experience with Postgres, MYSQL, Redshift and Jmeter for API

  • Healthcare benefits experience is strongly preferred.

  • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience is preferred.

Location: Remote

CLEARANCE: Requires the ability to pass a CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years in order to obtain a Public Trust.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $85,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
