Job Description

GDIT is searching for Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. You will support an exciting new program focused on identifying vulnerabilities in Medicaid, Medicare and the Marketplace.  The position will monitor, inspect, and propose measures to correct or improve deliverables in order to meet established quality standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Document and reporting product or service quality levels

  • Develop and implementing standards for inspection

  • Develop a workflow for product inspection

  • Communicate with other team members to solve problems

  • Follow up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found.

  • Work collaboratively within a team of Medicare, Medicaid and/or Marketplace policy expert SMEs and analysts.

  • Synthesize complex policy and regulatory guidance to develop recommendations, both written and verbal, to present to senior leadership.

  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.

  • Review and/or copy edit content developed by other members of the team.

  • Utilize a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills

  • Utilize strong computer literacy and database management

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Medicare, Medicaid and/or Marketplace experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance

  • Previous experience in Medicare, Medicaid, or Marketplace

  • Proficient in computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office-Word, Excel

Desired Skills:

  • Highly organized, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Strong inter-personal and communications skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to work independently (this job is remote)

  • Ability to closely follow quality standards

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
