This role drives organizational excellence by leading quality planning, compliance, continuous improvement, and QA inspection processes that ensure performance objectives are met while proactively resolving issues and enhancing safety and communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and update the Quality Management Plan (QMP), ensuring all processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements remain current, compliant, and fully implemented.
•  Provide leadership to a small quality team (approximately 10–15 people), offering guidance, mentorship, and accountability for quality outcomes.
•  Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, Government technical staff, and customers to define requirements, identify risks, and determine appropriate resolution actions.
•  Deliver clear and concise written and verbal communication, including quality reports, status updates, inspection findings, and senior‑level briefings.
•  Develop, lead, and refine QA inspection processes to ensure consistent delivery of performance expectations and mission requirements.
•  Conduct Quality Assessments, test analysis, and data-driven evaluations to confirm compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
•  Champion continuous improvement initiatives and frameworks to reduce costs, optimize schedules, and enhance organizational performance.
•  Promote special safety precautions, lead safety-related briefings, and support communication across senior management, safety teams, and contractor personnel.
•  Collaborate with 5G/IT program staff; while deep IT expertise is not required, candidates should possess basic to moderate IT program knowledge and be comfortable integrating quality processes into technical environments.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of related experience with a strong focus on Quality Management Plan ownership and quality program execution.

•  Demonstrated experience leading small teams in a quality or operational environment.

•  Direct experience with QA inspection processes, quality assessments, test analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•  Active Secret clearance.

•  Remote work environment.

•  Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
•  Experience supporting IT or 5G-related programs (preferred but not required if quality expertise is strong).
•  Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
