Job Description

WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN IV - Secret Clearance Required

SSA Operations Workers execute all functional tasks across Receiving, Issuing, Stock Control, Turn‑In, MHE Operations, and COMSEC Control. They ensure timely processing of materiel, accurate accountability, safe handling, proper documentation, and compliant execution of GCSS - Army workflows. Workers support the full cycle of SSA operations including receipt, storage, issue, inventory, retrograde, and sensitive item handling.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

  • Receive, off‑load, inspect, verify, and process inbound materiel from CRSP, FRP, retrograde, and commercial carriers.
  • Match documentation including TCNs, MROs, manifests, NIINs, quantities, and condition codes.
  • Process receipts, issues, and turn‑ins in GCSS‑Army per EUM+ procedures.
  • Stage, segregate, and properly label materiel for storage, issue, or further processing.
  • Perform binning, storage, consolidation, and location maintenance for all classes of supply.
  • Pick, pull, stage, and prepare outbound materiel for issue or shipment.
  • Conduct daily inventories, cyclic counts, sensitive item checks, and location surveys.
  • Identify, segregate, and document discrepant, unserviceable, or litigated materiel.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and MHE to safely move materiel.
  • Support turn‑in processing including cleaning, draining, palletizing, tagging, and documentation.
  • Handle COMSEC and CCI materials with proper stamping, segregation, and controlled access procedures.
  • Maintain daily workload logs, intake forms, issue logs, MRO logs, and customer service records.
  • Support retrograde, redistribution, and FOI processing under supervisor direction.
  • Assist customers with pick‑lists, verification, PGR processing, and issue documentation.
  • Ensure housekeeping, safety, PPE compliance, and proper storage of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain audit‑ready records and support causative research and discrepancy resolution.
  • Execute work in extreme‑heat environments safely and effectively.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in warehouse, supply, or materiel handling operations preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with Army supply procedures, materiel accountability, and warehouse tasks.
  • Ability to learn and use GCSS‑Army for receipts, issues, MRO processing, and location management.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and MHE safely (training provided).
  • Ability to follow instructions, work in teams, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and controlled items in compliance with security rules.
  • Strong attention to detail when verifying materiel, documentation, and quantities.
  • Ability to work in austere, deployed, and extreme‑heat environments.
  • Valid passport and ability to meet deployment screening requirements.
  • Ability to stand, lift, carry, and move materials for extended periods.(40 lbs)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet LOGCAP V deployment requirements.
  • Active U.S. Secret clearance.
  • Valid U.S. passport and ability to meet CRC requirements.
  • Willingness to deploy to SWA or other assigned locations.

CERTIFICATIONS
  • HAZMAT / HAZCOM certification (required or obtainable after hire).
  • Theater‑required certifications (AT, OPSEC, Cyber, etc.).
  • Forklift / MHE certification (provided after hire).

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $26.44 - $35.78. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
