Job Description

GDIT is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support our PACER Modernization Program.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of ten years' experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized in IT system functional analysis, preferably in Cloud Modernization projects.

  • Must possess superior functional knowledge of task order specific requirements and have experience in developing functional requirements for complex integrated IT systems.

  • Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross- functional requirements.

  • Document, design, and handle complicated business rules for processing operational and user data

  • Track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives

  • Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task

  • Must have a BS in an IT related field    

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience in Mainframe Business Process Re-engineering

  • Experience in zCloud and AWS Cloud Modernization

  • Experience in Agile Methodology to track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives

  • Knowledge in Business Process Automation (BPA) tools, BPMN, CMN and DMN models

  • Knowledge in leveraging Generative AI to document Business Rules and Requirements

  • Knowledge in multiple database technologies like DB2, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.,

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
