  • Create and execute test scripts utilizing ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework

How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own:

Our ServiceNow Test Engineering Summer Interns will work on a range of projects that ideally align with their interests. Interns will work a backlog of stories to optimize our Low-Code / No-Code (LCNC) delivery; these backlog stories will cover a variety of subjects, including CMDB Cleanup activities, Catalog Items (new and enhancements of existing), and Service Portal items (spike stories to research SN's new Employee Center SP and then provide recommendations/upgrade path). Additionally, they will complete the SN Fundamentals Course and test for SN CSA certification. The ideal intern will have a strong interest in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems within LCNC solutions like ServiceNow.

The Must-Haves:

  • Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering, or other relevant STEM field from a United States-based college or university.
  • At least 1 semester of study remaining after August 2026
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)

What You’ll Need to Deliver Your Best Every Day:

  • Interest in testing and problem-solving within ServiceNow and LCNC solutions.
  • Interest or experience with testing within the core suite of ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB).
  • Interest or experience with the ServiceNow APIs.
  • Interest or experience with JavaScript.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and solve complex problems related to rapidly changing technology.  
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions 
  • Excellent communication skills.

GDIT interns are paid and full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks. Applicants should have a minimum of one semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Take the first step and apply today!

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $19.55 - $26.45. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
