Job Description

ELECTRONICS ENGINEER SENIOR

We are seeking a motivated and diverse electrical engineer to support various efforts within our engineering development, testing, and product manufacturing teams. The candidate must have a proven record of technical aptitude, exceptional electrical troubleshooting abilities, AutoCAD experience, and efficiency testing products while maintaining quality and timeliness in all aspects of delivery and documentation upkeep. Also, experience and skills in creative problem solving and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team are essential. This includes providing innovative solutions, brainstorming with team members, and utilizing 3D modeling, 3D printing technology for prototyping and testing purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports operations, functionality, and production efforts including design, build/assembly, test, evaluation, failure investigation, troubleshooting, repairs, and reporting.
  • Contributes to creating, reviewing, and updating electrical drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Contributes to creating, reviewing, and updating electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Supports laboratory or field-testing activities.
  • Ensure products & systems meet test parameters, operational requirements, and development deadlines.
  • Diagnose/resolves failures and assist with modifications to parts, subassemblies, and printed circuit boards as needed.
  • Analyzes test data to identify, isolate, and resolve performance problems.
  • Supports corrective/preventive action processes and equipment preservation.
  • Delivers product documentation, test reports, and failure investigation records.
  • Aid in design verification testing of hardware and software against requirements.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Ensures build and testing methodology is compliant with company, military, and industry standards.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDB

● Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics preferred)

● Required Experience: Minimum 5 years as an electrical engineer, electronics engineer, or related.

● Required Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles (voltage, current, resistance), cable/wiring anatomy, and printed circuit board hardware/software functionality.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software creating and modifying electrical drawings.
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills to independently troubleshoot problems and find possible root causes related to test equipment, unit under test, and test procedures.
  • Ability to trace and correct faults down to the component level.
  • Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design experience.
  • Knowledge of software/firmware programming.
  • Technical reading/writing competency.
  • Experience with assembly of mechanical hardware and subassemblies.
  • Desire to build and test devices ranging from small quantities to larger batches.
  • Security Clearance Level: Current Active Clearance Required or the Ability to Obtain

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
