Job Description

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Project/Task Sr Manager . Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Project/Task Sr Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer.

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management
    Assign daily project tasks and deliverables to team members based on individual skills, capacity, and current workloads.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting
  • May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s)
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload
  • Manages risk tracking process
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  • Lead and inspire team members to hit project milestones while maintaining high morale and engagement.
  • Monitor individual and team output, reviewing activity plans to ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: BA/BS Degree
● Required Experience: 5 + years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • Must have MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills. Proficient in creating, modifying, and organizing spreadsheets with large line items.
  • Must possess appropriate current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification. In addition must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification within six (6) months of Hire Date.
  • As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to a zero tolerance policy for security violations.


● Security Clearance Level: Must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph. 
● Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
