MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Software Integration Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in providing expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Integration Engineer must have:
● Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
● Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software
● Technical skills: HPC architecture knowledge of HPC Ecosystem including compute, network, memory, and storage components
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required
● Must be proficient with the following:
Linux Shell scripting
Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)
Python Programming
GCC compiler
Multi-threaded software
Parallel processing
CORBA, J2EE
Perl or JavaScript
Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools Structured troubleshooting skills
System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
