SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:
Assist in the administration, maintenance, and security of IT systems within restricted military enclave networks, while complying with stringent cybersecurity standards
Support the implementation and enforcement of security controls in alignment with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Assist in system hardening, patch management and vulnerability remediation to proactively protect IT systems against emerging cyber threats
Assist with managing Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies, ensuring access is restricted to authorized personnel
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high availability of critical IT infrastructure
Maintain accurate and comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports
Participate in special projects and initiatives as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: AS/AA in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience; military and/or MTC experience preferred
Required Technical Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in System Administration and Support
Comprehensive knowledge of the associated hardware, software and equipment
Certification: CompTIA SEC+ is required
Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance required to start.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II certification (SEC+)
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a certificate or certification meeting evolving computing environments
Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Must perform effectively with minimal guidance
Location: On Customer Site / with moderate travel to other customer sites in the Pacific

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
