As a Technical Requirements Systems Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system.
● Lead/Manage/Support Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition
● Collaborate with Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos
● Drive the delivery of high-quality solutions
● Utilize Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

● Education: Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 10+ years of related experience
● Technical skills:
Required skills and experience include:
Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Desired experience includes:
Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture
Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts
Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/ Poly
● US citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $162,037 - $219,227. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
