General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced Zero Trust Program Manager to support the J6 Directorate at United States Central Command. The selected candidate will lead the coordination, oversight, and reporting of multiple initiatives supporting the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture in alignment with strategic guidance from the U.S. Department of War.
This role requires a seasoned program manager who can oversee a complex portfolio of cybersecurity initiatives, coordinate across multiple technical teams, and effectively communicate progress and strategy to senior leadership, including General and Flag Officers. The ideal candidate will understand DoW cybersecurity mandates, be skilled in enterprise-level program management, and can clearly visualize and communicate program progress toward strategic objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Manage and oversee a program of projects/tasks/initiatives supporting the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture across the CENTCOM enterprise.
Develop and maintain an integrated program roadmap aligned with DoW cybersecurity strategy and implementation timelines.
Coordinate across multiple technical teams responsible for identity, network, endpoint, cloud, and data security initiatives.
Serve as the central coordinator for cross-functional teams contributing to the Zero Trust implementation effort.
Lead efforts to identify necessary hardware and software procurements to support the Zero Trust program, ensuring alignment with mission requirements.
Track procurement progress through the contracting office, establish timelines for purchase and implementation, and proactively identify and report any delays or obstacles in the procurement process to leadership for resolution.
Facilitate collaboration among cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, and operational stakeholders.
Ensure program activities align with guidance from the U.S. Department of War and Combatant Command priorities.
Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings to senior leadership, including General and Flag Officers.
Translate complex cybersecurity initiatives into concise and actionable information for non-technical decision-makers.
Develop visual dashboards and report mechanisms that clearly demonstrate program progress, risks, and milestones.
Establish governance structures to track progress across multiple projects supporting Zero Trust implementation.
Monitor program milestones, performance metrics, and risks to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Provide leadership with regular status updates and recommendations for program adjustments.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Education/Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
8+ years of experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity programs in a government or defense environment.
Demonstrated experience coordinating large programs involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams.
Strong experience developing and presenting executive briefings to senior leadership.
Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles and enterprise cybersecurity strategies within the U.S. Department of War.
Ability to translate technical concepts into strategic program plans and leadership-level communications
Active Secret clearance required (TS/SCI eligibility preferred).
Desired Work Experience:
Experience supporting a Combatant Command (specifically US Central Command) or Joint Staff environment.
Knowledge and familiarity with USCENTCOM’s IT environment
Familiarity with DoW cybersecurity frameworks and strategic guidance related to Zero Trust implementation
Program management certifications (i.e., PMP, PgMP, or equivalent).
Experience developing executive dashboards and visualization tools to communicate program status.
Prior experience supporting enterprise-level cybersecurity transformation initiatives.

The likely salary range for this position is $147,050 - $198,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
