Job Description

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Business Process Manager at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Program Management.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT


As a Business Process Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission:

  • Extract and transform raw data into clean, actionable datasets using CSV exports and Excel, ensuring high data quality and accuracy.
  • Partner with employees to capture user needs and translate them into clear, strategic recommendations for system enhancements and expanded capabilities.
  • Serve as a key liaison, ensuring development teams fully understand business processes, priorities, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare polished business metrics, reports, and infographics aligned with client’s standards, and continuously assess reporting tools to recommend capability improvements.
  • Evaluate current knowledge‑management practices, identify best practices, guide implementation efforts, and monitor long‑term effectiveness and upkeep.
  • Maintain and update system user documentation, training resources, and business processes
  • Identify and propose improvements that streamline business processes—both manual and system‑automated—to increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Deliver onboarding briefings, provide system training, and offer ongoing guidance to ensure employees effectively use tools and follow case‑management standards.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED


Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Business Process Manager must have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree  or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Technical skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau, including formula development and basic coding to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Data Validation experience
  • Workplace compliance experience
  • Skilled in creating clear, visually compelling infographics in Excel and Tableau aligned with core design best practices.
  • Experience writing technical requirements and user stories to support workflow application development.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to deliver briefings, provide instruction, and produce onboarding and user‑support materials.
  • Experience conducting small‑scale business process analyses to identify integration and efficiency improvements.
  • Proven ability to define, communicate, and implement metrics‑driven process improvements vetted by stakeholders.
  • Experience recommending and facilitating the adoption of comprehensive, multi‑modal knowledge management practices.
  • Security clearance level:  TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Location:  McLean, VA – on customer site
  • US citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $174,250 - $235,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
