Our work depends on a Senior Systems Engineer joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
** You will have the opportunity to “modernize your skillsets” in a “dynamic team environment” by working with “cutting-edge technologies” to include AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Microservices, Cassandra, Java 25, Spring Boot/Cloud/Data, etc. **
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Opportunity to lead and provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements for production user facing applications
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities.
• Maintain and upgrade the Kubernetes clusters on the systems.
• Continuous monitoring of all systems.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college/university
• Requires 15+ years of related experience
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux
PREFERRED SKILLSETS:
• Expert level knowledge in data orchestration
• Senior experience working within the IC and DoD community

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $204,000 - $276,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
