  • Executive Briefings: Prepare and deliver high-impact, formal briefings, visual dashboards, and performance metrics for General/Flag Officers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Procurement & Governance: Identify capability gaps across the Zero Trust pillars, define procurement requirements, support the submission and tracking of acquisition packages through the contracting lifecycle to prevent implementation delays.
  • Policy Compliance and Creation: Interpret new Executive Orders, DoW and Joint Staff policies, instructions, cybersecurity guidance, mapping them directly to USCENTCOM J6 operational activities.  Develop or update USCENTCOM Zero Trust policies, instructions or technical guidance, as required.

Requirements:

  • Zero Trust Expertise: Strong familiarity with the Executive Order 14028 (Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity), DoW Zero Trust Strategy, NIST SP 800-207 (Zero Trust Architecture), and the (7) DoW Zero Trust pillars, (91) Target Level Activities, and (61) Advanced Level Activities.
  • Joint Staff/COCOM Experience: Previous experience operating within a Combatant Command (preferably USCENTCOM) or Joint Staff environment.
  • Communication: Proven ability to synthesize complex technical architectures into strategic, actionable briefs for senior military leadership.
  • Operational Technology Familiarity: Demonstrated expertise of operational technologies with Zero Trust dependencies, including:

  • Identity & Access: Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), Identity and Access Management (IdAM) frameworks.
  • Endpoint Security: Trellix Enterprise Security Suite (ESS).
  • Network Visibility: Comply-to-Connect (C2C) capabilities (including Forescout and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)).
  • Network Micro-Segmentation
  • Analytics & Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools: Splunk (Enterprise Security, User Entity Behavioral Analytics (UEBA), Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR).

Preferred Qualifications:
