Job Description

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Cloud Program Manager. Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Cloud Program Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USCENTCOM. You will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and operationalization of cloud strategies and solutions for the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) under the CITS program. This role requires expertise in aligning cloud initiatives with DoD policies, USCENTCOM mission objectives, and Zero Trust principles to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient cloud adoption and management.

Duties & Qualifications:

  • Refine and implement enterprise cloud strategies, migration approaches, and operating models that align with USCENTCOM and DoD objectives.
  • Support multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, DISA, and others) and hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with DoD Impact Levels (IL2, IL5, IL6).
  • Lead the USCENTCOM Cloud Management Office (CMO), including governance, policy development, budget oversight, innovation initiatives, and shared services.
  • Establish and enforce cloud standards, brokering processes, and best practices for enterprise-wide cloud adoption.
  • Design and operationalize cloud identity management frameworks in accordance with DoD, DISA E-ICAM, and USCENTCOM guidelines.
  • Implement Zero Trust Architecture principles for secure access control, gateway management, and protection of cloud-based data, applications, assets, and services (DAAS).
  • Ensure adherence to DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA), FedRAMP, and other cloud authorization processes.
  • Maintain familiarity with DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture and NIST Cloud Reference Architecture to guide secure cloud operations.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Sr Manager must have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
  • Certification: Security+ CE and Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Security clearance level: Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • US citizenship required
  • Desired Skills:
    • Master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
    • Familiarity with FedRAMP, GOVCloud, and DoD cloud authorization processes
    • Knowledge of DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture and Zero Trust Reference Architecture
    • Experience with tools such as Power BI and Azure DevOps

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
