Job Description

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Senior HR Operations Analyst at GDIT. In this role, you will enable the success of critical government missions and support the operational excellence of the GDIT Survey Center.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Senior HR Operations Analyst, your work will directly contribute to the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of survey operations that support GDIT’s workforce programs and customer commitments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high‑quality data collection, reporting, and analytics that inform business decisions and enhance the employee experience.

  • Primary responsibilities include supporting end‑to‑end survey administration, maintaining data integrity, managing survey workflows, and ensuring timely reporting. Your work strengthens the Survey Center’s ability to deliver reliable insights that drive strategic HR initiatives. You will also contribute to special projects or evolving operational needs as assigned.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, and internal business units to coordinate survey timelines, resolve issues, and support customer‑specific program requirements. Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and data standards.
  • Develop clear, compelling data visualizations and executive-ready presentations to communicate survey insights, translating complex findings into tailored narratives and concise summaries for various employee audiences ranging from frontline staff to senior leadership
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, enhancing data quality, and implementing new methods for survey delivery and analytics. Contribute to innovation by troubleshooting operational challenges and recommending streamlined solutions.
  • Use tools such as Workday, Gartner, Peakon, SurveyMonkey, MS Forms, Excel, Power Automate, and other GDIT Survey Center platforms to manage survey logistics, monitor participation, validate data, and prepare reports. Apply strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of HR operations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your Human Resources expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior HR Operations Analyst must have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in HR or I/OP Business track; Masters desired
  • Experience: 5+ years of HR operations, HR analytics, survey administration, or related experience
  • Technical skills: experience with survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey/MS Forms), Excel, HRIS systems (Workday preferred), data validation, and reporting 
  • Role requirements: Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Capability to present data-backed insights to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Hybrid Work Schedule:  This position requires a hybrid schedule with on-site presence in Falls Church office at least three (3) days per week.
  • Certification: HR-related or analytics certification is preferred.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $95,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
